The celebration starting February 8 in the Johnson Valley OHV area, north of Landers, California is expected to be the largest competitive rocksports event in history. Fifteen to twenty thousand off-roaders will gather in a tent and RV community on Means Dry Lake Bed. Hammertown will host the fourth running of the fastest growing off-road race in the world. Touted as the toughest one day off-road race in the world, the Griffin King of the Hammers will offer a full week of excitement that culminates in the 135-mile race, which tackles terrain as varied as the teams themselves.
