Performance Accessories offers a Low Buck Lift for the '09 Dodge Ram

The rear bumper is also removed to install the new relocation brackets. You'll also have to temporarily remove the spare tire to gain access to the bolts but PA's brackets easily bolt in place and the rear bumper can be reinstalled. If your truck has the factory dual exhaust option, you may want to have a muffler shop reposition the tips closer to the bumper, since there will be some additional space between the two.
The CNC machined spring spacers (leveling kit) should be installed by a professional with a spring compressor. Removing the coil spring and shock assembly also requires some experience, as it requires unbolting the front anti-sway bar end links, and loosening the lower control arm from the spindle.

The provided longer high-grade bolts are secured in place.
This will create enough room to unbolt the coil shock assembly from the shock tower mount and remove it from the vehicle. If you can do this, go for it. But it's highly recommended to take the shock assembly to a professional suspension or alignment shop. They will have a spring compressor tool that will safely and properly remove the top spring perch, insert the billet spacer and reassemble the components so you can reinsert the assembly back onto the vehicle.
Finally, the Gap Guards are installed by using them as a template to mark and drill holes into the factory wheel-wells. Push-in plastic rivets are used to secure the Gap Guards in place and once installed, the guards hide the gap between the body and frame.
PA's Premium Lift System is one of the most economical ways to raise your '09 Dodge Ram. In addition, the lift system won't stiffen the ride quality of the factory suspension or change its geometry. So the factory ride remains smooth while the addition of a larger set of off-road wheels and tires can not only give your truck a custom appearance, but additional traction when you need it.

Once you start replacing the front mounts, you'll have to remove the bottom of the fan shroud for clearance. Performance Accessories hasn't seen any rise in engine temperature by removing this portion of the shroud.  Once the body is completely lifted, bolt on the front bumper relocation brackets.

Mark the location of the bottom two holes in the relocation bracket to drill through the frame mount. These will serve to secure the lower bolts of the bumper to the bracket. Once the holes are drilled, the relocation brackets are secured with the hardware provided in the kit.

Remove the rear bumper by unbolting the center and side bolts that hold it to the frame. Here you can see where the Performance Accessories drop brackets are bolted to the exposed bumper mounts. The factory coil and shock assemblies are removed. You should have a suspension or alignment shop use a spring compressor tool to allow removal of the top spring perch and insert the billet spacer.

Once the coil and shock assembly is replaced back into the Ram, the Gap Guards are installed to hide the space between the frame and body. Reinstall the bumper, top bumper cover and grille to finish the installation. Once this is done, there's no sight gap and you can fit a set of 35-inch tall tires for a custom appearance that doesn't affect the ride or driving comfort.
