Uplifting Your Super Duty

Giving the Pro Comp Treatment to a Ford F-250

Getting down and dirty makes us happier than a pig in slop. But getting up and dirty is even better. At least that's what we discovered driving an F-250 fitted with a Pro Comp six-inch lift. Rising above all the muck and mire, this setup, along with a set of Pro Comp's Xtreme tires and wheels, enabled us to leap big bogs in single bound. Or at least power through them without getting too mucked up.
The kit is designed for the 2008 Super Duty F-250/F-350 4X4 (gas or diesel), and it comes in either a Stage I (with MX6 mono-tube adjustable shocks or twin-tube ES9000 units) or the Stage II system.
Upgrading to the Stage II adds replacement radius arms made from 4130 chromoly tubing and sturdy 3/16-inch thick steel plate. Solid billet lift blocks and dual add-a-leafs lift the rear and reduce axle wrap.
The Stage II also offers a choice of three shocks: MX6, MX6R with reservoirs, or twin-tube ES9000. Adjustable MX6R and MX6 mono-tube shocks combined with select-rate front coil springs improve factory ride quality and allow tailoring of ride comfort. Just take your pick - it all depends on the ride you want.
For those Ford fans with older models, you won't be left in the dirt. Pro Comp Suspension offers high-performing lift kits for the '99-07 Ford Super Duty models as well. The six-inch lift systems can fit up to 37-inch tires, and they all feature laser-cut brackets and a drop pitman arm to maintain precise suspension and steering control. Now, isn't that  a clean deal?
